When they say, “Marry your best friend,” they’re not wrong—and that’s exactly what our Canadian couple Emilie and Hunter did. Together since they were 16, they have grown side by side, becoming the best versions of themselves with the love and support of one another. How beautiful it is to witness such a journey.
The day began with a “first look,” where Hunter saw Emilie, his bride-to-be, for the first time in a stunning lace wedding gown. Their stroll through the charming, historical streets of Chania set a romantic tone for the day, weaving in a touch of history and serenity.
For their elopement, Emilie and Hunter selected breathtaking florals to complement their special day. The ceremony arch was adorned with lush greenery and towering pastel flower arrangements, and with a floor floral compositions at the base of the arch, the impressive visual was achieved. It was worth every bit of an extra upgrade—not just for the images, but for the atmosphere and the emotions the décor evoked. Those flowers created a high level of magical vibe, a focal point of Emilie and Hunter’s elopement.
As they arrived at the second location, where the ceremony and dinner would take place, everything was perfectly set up, blending with Cretan nature. Emilie and Hunter felt not anxiety – just a pure excitement. Emilie walked down the aisle with a joyful spring in her step, eager to meet Hunter at the altar. Standing beneath the arch, hand in hand, Emilie and Hunter whispered sweet words to each other as the sun kissed their cheeks and set behind the olive groves hills. Their celebration completed with Cretan dinner for two: only best of the island signature dishes and sound of a few cicadas lost among the branches of carob tree, where our couple relaxed with local cocktails.
