Cretan hot spring winery wedding in pastel shades Natalie and Matthew
Planning for the island spring wedding may bear an extra risk of a few rain drops, but it was definitely not the case for our couple. Their May, early afternoon ceremony felt like summer days.
It was sunny and pleasant with flowers booming and plants catching this deep saturated shade of green.
With the view to White Mountains, Natalie and Mat exchanged their vows in the grass yard of local winery. Furnished with wooden accents of chairs and tables, the wedding ceremony and reception were decorated with blush pink and ivory peonies mixed with roses. Greenery garlands topped the heavy folk tables which stood out from the impressive stone wall of the winery main building. A few whimsical details and green leaves of custom stationery completed this rustic wedding looks.
Natalie’s bridesmaid surprised the couple with the Greek dancers’ performance. It was a gift that all guests enjoyed learning the steps of Zorbas the Greek and admiring techniques of Cretan dances.
Rustic surroundings were softened by the strings of festoon lights creating the atmosphere of family and friends special gathering.
