A wedding like a fairytale

Our decision to marry in Crete had nothing to do with Greek history but everything with Anna! I found her Instagram page and immediately was impressed by her work. Every wedding she managed, looked like a dream. So off we went to Crete to meet up with her. Very quickly it was clear to me how professional she handled her business and how caring she was about giving her couples everything they ever dream off. Our wedding day was like a fairytale.. I felt like a princess and my guests felt like they were in a Hollywood movie. Just stunning! Even more beautiful then on the pictures you see online. I felt like I was dreaming. I just can’t describe the happy feeling of joy I was feeling throughout the whole day! Everything came together just like we planned it. Most importantly Anna listened so carefully to our wishes and made sure everything looked like we wanted! She handles all the vendors. I didn’t even notice she was around. So considerate. Our wedding day was stressfree and I can’t thank her enough! I couldn’t have had this, without her help and care. She goes out of her way for you because she cares. After a long journey and years of separate paths after their prom together, Samantha and Stefan finally found each other at this right and final school reunion when they decided never let go. ❤️ They traveled all the way from USA to make their dream of an intimate elopement come true on the beautiful shores of Crete. 🏝️

As Cretan music played softly in the background, they shared a special moment cutting the handmade, artfully decorated gamokoulouro — a traditional Greek wedding bread symbolizing unity and prosperity. 🍞🎶

And just when we thought the day couldn’t be more memorable, a man walked by after the ceremony with two black dogs at his side… or so we thought! At second glance, we realized it was a dog and a sheep! 🐕🐑 This unexpected twist brought laughter and surprise to the occasion, making the day even more unforgettable. 😄💫

The Hellenic inspired day ended for our couple at the local fish tavern at one of the most historical and charming locations for the romantic dinner.

One of the reasons to have a local planner that can put together plan B and pull the strings of local connections that come with many years of business friendships!

So although Katie and Josh’s elopement day started with a rainstorm, it turned into a beautiful, cozy celebration in the most unexpected setting — a charming winery surrounded by barrels🍷🌧️

What began as a rainy morning blossomed into a perfect, intimate day filled with wine and love. 🎶🤘 The beat of their favorite rock tunes echoed through the winery as Katie and Josh eloped, infusing their special day with fun and vibrant energy. 🎸✨

When the day cleared out, we were still able to return to the initially chosen impressive stone Amphitheater for family and romantic portraits. The moments were restored!

Sometimes, the best stories are the ones that need to be rewritten!
