We are well back here in Norway, now as “officially” husband and wife…! Since we left you at the Villa on Sunday, we had a wonderful evening at the hotel and a night with a lot of fun!

Anna, Ellen and I will forever be grateful for the fantastic ceremony you gave and arranged for us, it was far better than I ever could have imagined! Truly magical, with the decorations, the view, the weather and also the fantastic guitar players! And of course, have to mentioned the look of the bride, Ellen….! She took my breath away…!! EVERYTHING turned out to be perfect and just hard to believe when I/we look back at the day.

It is difficult to explain how amazing {Crete for Love} has been throughout the whole process of organising our destination wedding in Crete.

The thing that immediately struck me about Crete for Love was their beautiful style! Anna and Stavriani have a talent for exquisite detail that exceeded our incredibly high expectations.

From a practical point of view, the communication with Anna was efficient and thorough throughout, so much so that she made me feel as though we were her only clients!!

We can’t thank Anna and Stavriani at {Crete for Love} enough for making our dreams come true and for giving us and our guests the most perfect day!!

Can we do it again please??

Our wedding day really was beyond perfection! My other half and I had a very clear picture of how we wanted the day to look, feel etc and Stavriani and Ana definitely helped us achieve that. Every little detail was considered and I only wish we could do it all again!

The decision to have our wedding in Crete wasn’t just a whim. Christina’s dad is a Greek Cypriot and Oryan’s grandparents are Greek Jewish decedents plus Christina’s family had planned a trip to Crete that never took place, and so it happened that we got married in the Greek island of Crete.

Planning a wedding remotely in a place we’ve never been before through people we never met is a little “courageous”, especially as we had many particular requests since we wanted to combine Oryan’s Israeli and Jewish culture with Christina’s Greek and American one. We didn’t understand it right away, but with the help of these two wonderful girls we basically invented our own ceremony. To illustrate – the bride arriving on a donkey named Tasia and the groom shattering the wine glass wearing only one blue Dolce and Gabbana shoe are just bits of the wedding.

In our conversations and emails with Crete for Love, we were given concrete and narrowed down options for everything and they were able to guide us to make the best choice based on what we were envisioning. As soon as we arrived and we met Crete for Love head coordinators, all of our anxieties and fears quickly melted away. We were immediately reassured that everything was under control and were given a clear plan for the events. Having not seen any of the decorations or flowers beforehand, I can say that we were so overly pleased and pleasantly surprised with everything. It all turned out perfect and within our vision. Crete for Love did an excellent job at listening to what we wanted and making it happen without too much back and forth – they just executed!

Our friends and family who came from the States, Italy, Israel and Cyprus had only great things to say about the wedding and the party — many told us it was the best wedding they had ever been too! We can’t thank the girls enough for listening to our (crazy) ideas and following through with our vision for the day and making sure everything went smoothly. It was a wonderful day that we will never forget and we have Crete for Love to thank for it!

We love to travel and explore the world together and it was while exploring Crete that we fell in love with it and found our perfect wedding locations.

Our wedding day was perfect, that is how we describe it whenever someone asks. From start to finish there is nothing we would change, Anna and the team at Crete for Love listened to every idea, suggestion and request and made it a reality. From the hair and make-up to the logistics and attention to detail in the decor at the beach and winery, everything was so much more than we could have imagined. Thinking about our day and looking back at the photos it is like looking at someone else’s perfect day, we found ourselves pinching one another to check everything was real and not just a dream. We are so grateful that we got to live it for real!

The professionalism and organisation of the team at Crete for Love cannot be falted nor can the genuine personal investment and passion in what Anna & Stavriani do. Additionally, we couldn’t be more pleased with the photos we so promptly recieved and love the spontaneity and creativity of Andreas in his photography and he really captured the key moments, personalities and enjoyment of all of us in every photo. At no point have we felt stressed or worried about any aspect of the day, not even on the morning of the wedding and this is due to the complete faith we had in Anna and the team at Crete for Love.

My (Harriet’s) dad Andrew cannot express his enjoyment and memory of the day, in particular the stunning setting on the beach as it appeared before us over the brow of the hill, without welling up with tears of happiness. Every one of our guests, in particular our celebrant (Harriet’s brother Sam) has thanked us over and over again for such an unforgettable day as part of a wonderful time in Crete.

Our only regret is that we don’t get to do it all over again. Thank you for the most unforgettable and special day of our lives.
